Our Story

His story…..

I saw the beautiful Pst. Peniel a couple of times and thought of her as my sister’s friend and my cousins look alike.

I recall meeting her in April 2015 at the Loveworld Festival of Music and Arts (LFMA) in Johannesburg South Africa and in November that same year at the International Media Connectors Conference (IMCC) in Lagos.
She wasn’t necessarily my friend but a familiar face that I saw around in most Loveworld ministry programs I attended so we always greeted each other with waves and smiles whenever we met and that was it.

Then fast forward to 2020 we officially became friends and began talking more. I remember at IPPC that year, the auditorium was full but she had a spare seat so she gave it to me.

We maintained our friendship and spoke more often and I got introduced to the most amazing, thoughtful and caring lady ever. Shortly after, I knew she was the one.

Something interesting happened, she called randomly that she was coming to Abuja which was my then base and workstation cmon could any sign be clearer than that?????
Lol let’s just say the rest is history.

Her story…..

God really makes things beautiful in his own time, because who would have thought I’d be writing this today.

I briefly met Johnny at the Loveworld Music Festival of Music and Arts 2015 in SA whilst doing some media presenting work. Then later, I saw him again at the International Media Connectors Conference that same year in Nigeria. I’d say after those two occasions we were what I call ministry programs friends and that was it until we saw each other at the next program. In fact, some of us used to call him Uncle Johnny, the supplier of snacks back then during the back-to-back sessions at IPPC at the LCA to be specific.

Mind you, I was friends with his immediate younger sister but that didn’t change “ministry program friend” status. Fast forward to March 2020 we began to speak a lot more and then became friends. Hmm Johnny, turned out to be so loving and caring, but hey – FRIENDS!

In September 2021, I had to go on training, and to my surprise, it was in Abuja which was his base at the time. Here’s me the runaway friend reaching out that I’d be landing in Abuja the next day.

let’s cut the story short in righteousness, shall we? After some time let’s just say the rest is…. HISTORY!
